I am a Licensed Clincial Worker practicing for nearly 25 years. I am passionate about working with families and individuals to create more calm and balance in their lives. When individuals create a sense of calm within themselves; this can permeate outwards. Our goal together would be to sustain this sense of calm within your life. Creating this will help nurture more compassion with family, friends and in at your work place. My goal is to help my clients see both their strengths and weaknesses and to find a balance between the two. I provide an environment that is filled with warmth, empathy and acceptance.
My approach is ecletic, incorporating various modalities including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, psychodynamic, play therapy and solution-focused therapy. I hold a Masters of Science in Social Work from New York University and advanced post graduate training from ICAFS (Institute Child Adolescent and Family Studies).
Life can be stressful. I help empower my client's to cope with stressors to improve their lives. With the therapeutic relationship we build together, I look forward to helping you acquire skills and coping strategies that will bring more happiness and success in your life.
