I am an Integrative psychotherapist who is able to support people who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I specialize in grief counseling, including suicide bereavement. My strengths as a counselor allow me to support people going through existential crises, major life transitions, as well as those who want to explore their spirituality. I have been a holistic health practitioner for over 42+ years, so I bring my understanding of the integration of the body, mind, and spirit to my counseling practice. I offer Energy Psychology techniques, Reiki, and Flower Essence therapy as adjunctive therapies to my counseling clients.
I use a client-centered, psychodynamic therapeutic approach. Together, we will look for the impacts and influences of your life experiences on your psyche, body, and spirit. I utilize a Heart-centered mindfulness approach, as well as Comprehensive Energy Psychology techniques, including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), to guide you in your healing process.
When we suffer as human beings, our present struggles are deeply connected to how the experiences of our past have negatively influenced our entire being, mostly impacting us beneath our conscious awareness. Catonsville Suicide Loss Support Group
This group is for adults who have lost a loved one due to suicide, and who are looking for a safe place to talk about their grief journey. The group meets virtually on the first and third Wednesday nights of each month, from 6:30-8:00. It is facilitated by grief counselors Sarah Montgomery, LCSW-C, and Annette Laugel, LCPC. Pre-registration is required to attend for the first time. Donation is $10-$15 per session.

The Catonsville Suicide Loss Support Group
This is a professionally-led, bi-weekly, drop-in support group for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Nobody understands the pain you are dealing with better than those who are on the same difficult journey. Pre-registration is required. We are currently meeting online due to COVID-19, on the first and third Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00. It is free at this time.
