Hello and welcome! Successful therapy is so often about finding the right “fit” between therapist and client. With over 25 years’ experience in providing therapy I have had time to master multiple approaches to treatment, which means that I can customize your treatment to fit your needs. I take a collaborative problem-solving approach to treatment, where we establish an alliance to facilitate beneficial therapeutic change. As a therapist I value your experiences, desires, and goals. A major focus of my therapeutic work is with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems.
I work closely with you to achieve good outcomes, reduce the impact and symptoms of trauma in your life, and help you improve the quality of your life. I also have extensive experience treating couples, including couples where one or both partners have trauma, or when relationship traumas have occurred, such as infidelity.
I am a US Army veteran and have worked extensively with those at all levels of leadership in both private and government organizations on professional development. I am trained in a variety of approaches, to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Beck Institute, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and others.
