I use multiple therapeutic approaches but believe strongly in cognitive behavioral therapy (addressing distressing feelings and behaviors by recognizing one's distorted self-talk), and have established my own individualized approach which involves compassion, support, and sometimes humor.
Surviving a painful family trauma myself has allowed me personal insight into the healing journey. I provide concrete guidance and suggestions while always welcoming your contribution and increased independence in this process. I very much look forward to working with you.
