In our work together I will draw from therapeutic strategies including mindfulness, CBT, talk therapy and psycho education.
I will help you identify unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior, develop new coping skills, and set achievable goals for change. My areas of interest and experience are anxiety, trauma and PTSD, substance abuse and addiction, communication and relationship issues, co-dependency, and self esteem issues.
Research shows that one of the most important factors in positive outcomes for therapy is a strong therapeutic alliance and a comfortable, trusting relationship with the therapist.
