"The quality of one's relationships determines the quality of one's life." The best investment we can make is improving our relationships. Clients seek guidance when they are feeling discouraged, dissatisfied, and disconnected in their primary relationships. Moving from disconnection to connection requires that clients bring a spirit of courage and cooperation to our conversations. I work with my clients to help them acquire self knowledge and develop skills to navigate the complexities of their close relationships. Understanding the difference between being an ally from being a competitor is key to building healthy, thriving relationships and ultimately, a fulfilling life.
My goal for my clients is recognizing the destructive, controlling behaviors that are disconnecting them from significant others and then replacing them with caring, cooperative behaviors that help them forge satisfying, successful connections. My clients come to understand that they must act if they sincerely desire change.
The most strained relationships can succeed if at least one partner commits to being courageous, cooperative, and creative in making small changes in their behavior. Courageous Conversations about Couplehood
This is a free workshop intended to bring individuals and couples together to talk about the challenges of navigating modern, romantic relationships. I will provide participants with insights and information about how to connect with significant others in healthy, satisfying ways. This workshop is hosted by Community Roots Collective located on 2746 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL. The first 2 workshops will be on Tuesday March 19 at 6pm and Saturday March 23 at 12pm.
