I believe through telling your story, you can create insight and lasting change in your life. I have clinical experience working with depression, anxiety, stress, coping skills, grief, loss, trauma, life transitions, LGBTQ, addictions and women’s issues. I work with adults and children ages 12 and up. I use traditional talk therapy, as well as art therapy, and walk and talk therapy in the private practice setting. I can offer complimentary 30 minute "meet the therapist" sessions to ensure you feel the best fit possible. I am also trained in EMDR and am informed in Internal Family Systems.
I truly believe in building a trusted relationship between the therapist and client through the therapeutic process. I use a collaborative approach to therapy and believe that if a client can find greater understanding within themselves, they can achieve greater satisfaction in their lives and create a lasting change to move forward.
As a person and a therapist I passionately believe in human resiliency. Life presents constant challenges and can be extremely difficult but with the willingness to create understanding, a safe space to share thoughts and feelings and the desire to change, I believe that the human spirit is incredibly resilient and can overcome and persevere.
