Hello, my name is Anne Smith. I have a special interest in working with mothers who have experienced birth trauma, as well as pregnancy losses such as miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. I believe my clients are experts in their own lives, and I strive to meet them where they are at. I am a mother myself and can understand that life can feel overwhelming at times. I also have a special interest in working with the neurodiverse population, including but not limited to Autistic individuals, and individuals diagnosed with ADHD. I am ready to walk alongside each of my clients and assist them along their journeys.
My therapeutic style is eclectic and collaborative. I believe in finding the unique treatment modalities that work for each individual. I utilize a holistic approach when working with clients. I use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as, inner child and body-based interventions. I have also been trained in EMDR and ERP.
I know it can be difficult to seek help. It's uncomfortable and scary. I strive to help my client's feel safe, and meet them where they are at in life. The healing journey can feel messy at times, but the growth it can bring is incredibly empowering.
