Self -care and Art therapy.
Closed group every other Monday night from 5:30 to 7pm beginning October 2019. Capacity of 4our to six/eight participants. The group will be learning ways to cope with Self -care. The art emerged from the images will be the vehicle to become aware of internalize patterns of behavior that can be changed or shifted in order to improve wellness and functionality. Small groups of 4participants do not need to be skilled in Art. The open studio is an invitation to express freely learning the benefits of personal expression. Integration of coping skills, guidance, and witnessing according to individual needs. The group is set up to work towards discovering and using awareness, growth and useful tools that are valuable for improving overall wellness.

Art in Wellness Classes at the Dunedin Art Center
A series of Art in Wellness classes to advocate for the benefits of art and how images can release expression and improve coping skills in the facilitation of a better functioning. These psycho-educational workshops enhance safety and creativity while learning new approaches into wellness. No artistic skills necessary but just the intention to express in a natural way.
