Welcome! Searching for a therapist can be difficult. All of us face uncertainties, changes, difficult choices, and unforeseen circumstances that can influence how we are coping. My approach is to meet you where you are in life. In sessions, we will explore and identify obstacles you may be facing presently. My goal is to assist you with tackling these areas in an effective way.
I believe in a partnered approach to counseling, in which the directions from the client can be combined with guidance from the counselor. I have training and specialize in the following issues: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, women issues, postpartum depression, sexuality/gender issues, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ community, and grief.
I also enjoy the option to be creative in sessions, such as including different forms of self-expression, like art, music and humor.
