Grief Recovery
People say you have to let go and move on in your life, but they don't tell you what you need to do to accomplish that. The Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program not only makes that possible but provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens. This eight-week group uses the Grief Recovery Method, an international, evidence-based technique. The program differs from other support groups in its action-based and directed approach, and is a great choice for grievers who want more than traditional support groups offer.

GRIP (Addiction Recovery)
Group Recovery and Interpersonal Processing (“GRIP”) provides a supportive, honest space for people to explore thoughts, fears, and feelings about early recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. It is an open-ended conversation where participants can share what’s weighing on them in early sobriety. Substance abuse and addiction issues often have roots in relational problems, so the group focuses on “here and now” interpersonal dynamics to teach healthier modes of communication. Anna draws on a wide portfolio of techniques (e.g., psychodrama, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psycho-education) to understand and rebuild thinking patterns, process emotions, grieve, and more.

Trauma Group
In this six-week group, you will explore the spiritual, mental, and physical impacts of your traumatic event with an affirming set of peers. To provide continuity and deepen trust, these groups are single-gender, and will consist of the same people each week. You will jumpstart your recovery as you speak directly to your trauma, and address your past and future selves. The group uses a mix of narrative therapy, visualization, psychodrama, and art, while paying close attention to the bodily effects of trauma and exploring grounding techniques to cope with overwhelming emotions and/or flashbacks.
