I understand the strength it takes to start therapy and believe in meeting clients where they are. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples learn how to identify and tolerate difficult emotions, how to set individual and relationship boundaries, and how to grow toward creating the relationship you want with yourself and/or your partner. I create a space for clients to feel supported, heard, and empowered as they move toward healing and change. I am LGBTQIA+ and friendly and approach all clients with empathy and compassion.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and tailored to the individual’s or couple's needs. Evidenced-based treatment models include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to treat a wide variety of psychological issues both in adults and adolescents.
