My advanced training is in child and family psychotherapy. I am trained as an individual, couples and family psychotherapist. I have practiced psychotherapy with patients of different races and ethnicities, and many different cultures, immigrants and refugees from Eastern Europe, former USSR, Asian countries and Latin America. My specialities includes treatment of mood disorders– anxiety, depression, panic disorder, chronic mental illness, such as Bipolar disorder, personality disorders, relationship, couples and family problems, including marital and intergenerational conflicts, sexual problems, infertility etc. Issues specific to LGBT community– coming out, relationships.
I have worked as a clinician in the US since 1980. I am very comfortable with most patients, ages 5 to 95, including the ones, who come from countries, where psychotherapy is not a part of popular culture.
