Struggling in relationship with food, body, and self can feel isolating. So many of us have been taught to disconnect from our bodies, to ignore our emotions, and to fear exploring and expressing our authentic selves. I am so sorry if you have experienced this pain, and I am here to offer support on your healing journey. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and Oregon, specializing in addressing issues related to disordered eating, body image, and LGBTQIA+ identities.
My approach is strengths-based, relational, collaborative, and holistic. My practice aligns with “Health At Every Size” (HAES), “All Foods Fit”, and harm reduction. My practice utilizes a cultural humility framework and is trauma-informed, queer affirming, neurodiverse affirming, and fat-positive. I respect the mind-body connection and your lived experience.
I always provide my clients with a listening ear, a non-judgmental stance, and new coping skills.
