I do not accept any Medicaid/Medicare plans and that I can only take clients' with availability from 10-3 weekdays.I enjoy working with diverse populations and have experience working with clients from different cultures, clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, and the military community. I am especially interested in helping young adults and teenagers build self-esteem and work through life transitions. I enjoy working with anyone who is feeling left out of our society whether due to sexuality preferences/practices, being over or under weight, symptoms of trauma or any other issues that have left you feeling disconnected from society.
My overall approach to therapy is trauma-informed and I am trained in EMDR.. Along with treating trauma, I like to use positive psychology. I believe in helping people find the good in their life, even if it can sometimes be hard to find. Other tools I use include DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
For me, helping others reach their goals so that their lives can be even better is incredibly fulfilling. I love working with individuals who are motivated for change and have seen great successes in my clients through their hard work.
