My clinical focus is on recovery from trauma, particularly relational trauma, such as neglect and abuse. I have training from Bessel van der Kolk & his colleagues and include both mind and body in treatment. If you care for a child with a trauma history, I am a Trust-Based Relational Intervention practitioner and enjoy supporting foster & adoptive parents.
For couples counseling, I draw on my training in The Gottman Method as well as a trauma-informed and attachment based perspective. For both individuals & couples, I have an interest in incorporating clients’ faith and spirituality into therapy as they find it helpful.
