Current Openings! I work with clients who are struggling with the effects of chronic stress, trauma, and difficult family or close relationships to have greater self-worth and compassion in their present life. I can help clients learn to sort through and manage the overwhelming or confusing emotions, and the outdated beliefs & behavioral habits that stem from trauma, anxiety and depression. I often help clients who come from abusive family backgrounds where their emotions didn't matter, or were dismissed, to learn more about themselves, feel more belonging, and to take action toward their true goals and values.
I use methods of talk therapy that connect our thoughts and emotions with our body to help process and heal the effects of stress, difficult pasts and traumatic events. While talking & gaining knowledge is important, I strive to help clients learn and practice holistic ways of coping to build resilency. Feel free to ask me more about this!
