Hi there! My name is Ann Kent, LMFT-A (soon to be LMFT, RPT). I work with all ages, but love school-aged kiddos and young adults dealing with anxiety, neurodivergency or grief. I want clients to be able to learn about themselves, heal from anything in their past or present, and grow into whomever they want to be in the future.

I was previously with Emerge FTC in Spartanburg, SC prior to starting my own practice. I am on track to be a LMFT, RPT by end of the year! I love integrating basic talk therapy in with play, art, and experiential techniques to provide a safe place for you or your child to learn about their life and emotions and grow into whoever you or they would like to be.

I do my best to meet my clients where they are at; meaning I come in with a lot of empathy and compassion in all my sessions (first, middle or last) to build rapport with them. I want my clients to know and trust their therapy is their safe place to come and work through life together. So, reach out and let's start healing!

The main reasons for coming to therapy I work with for adult clients are life transitions, anxiety and grief. I see a lot of anxiety, ADHD & ASD, and divorce with my child clients I see. I treat every reason for coming into therapy as individually as the client walking into my office is. No treatment is the same, so I am collaborative with each client and family to find the best fit for treatment.
