I am a motivational therapist. I teach what helped me to stop feeling preoccupied with pennies and getting occupied making millions. I will first understand you, where you are. Baseline. One of the best solutions to reduce depression (the past) and anxiety (the future) is to joyfully live in the present. The "broken records" of verbal and other addictions are not your friends. Joy and productivity are your friends, along with the friend who never offers you negative news. As we learn, changes must generalize from each meeting to other settings with helpful tools for your greatest life experiences.
I listen with respect and help the client identify mental addictions and other toxic influences that drain their energy and joy. Then, through Cognitive Behavior Therapy and education I will teach the client a behavior-cognitive formula “L=90+9+1” to improve their quality of life.
Anxiety and sadness cause real pain that no pill alone can fix. I too have missed past friends and I feared the future. Waking up in fear and loneliness are nightmares. Fearing bullies, discrimination, and anger waste our precious energy. Learn a treatment plan to replace fear with joy.
