Listen, I know that life is not easy. It can be cold, unfair, and downright cruel. At times you may even feel like you’ve been broken into a million pieces. Can I ask you a question? Aren’t you tired of tripping over those pieces? Wouldn’t you like to instead use those pieces to lay down a new foundation and thrive? I’d like you to think of me as your “mental health trainer.” Just like a with physical trainer, we’re going to cultivate a unique treatment plan just for you. Please feel free to come as you are! Wear pajamas, care for the baby, or sit in the car. Whatever helps you feel most comfortable.
What can you expect from our sessions? Well, we’re going to work. We’re going to learn and implement new skills that aid in reaching your goals. We’re going to celebrate the highs and process through the lows. We’re going to push and challenge you past your comfort zone, while always honoring your boundaries.
I have a strong passion for Biblical Christian counseling and I love when clients bring their faith into sessions. I believe that there is a beautiful place where faith and therapy work together to help us achieve our goals. With a background in CBT, solution-based therapy, and DBT, I look forward to working with you in your journey to thrive!
