I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), a Licensed Clinical Supervisor, (LCADC-S) for the Nevada State Board of Examiners of Alcohol, Drug, and Gambling Counselors, I am an approved secondary supervisor for the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage Family Therapist-Interns and/or Clinical Professional Counselor Interns. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (EMDR Therapy) and certified in Safe and Sound Protocol, (SSP) both of which are evidenced based modalities for treating trauma, anxiety, and other distressing life events.
I strive to provide a safe environment where individuals can develop their self-awareness and internal sense of empowerment. Treatment modalities include, Integrated Holistic Wellness approaches, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Guided Visualizations, Expressive Therapies, and Sandtray Therapy.
All of us have our own strengths and difficulties with unique ways of thinking, doing, and learning. I focus on building a therapeutic relationship of collaboration with each of my clients, while supporting the whole person through strengths based and neurodiverse affirming practices. My hope is for all individuals to create a sense of meaning and purpose.
