I am a clinical mental health counseling student. I have completed coursework in counseling and helping relationships, theories of personality and clinical practice, social and cultural counseling, crisis and trauma, professional ethics and clinical practice, group counseling, and psychopathology and diagnostic practice. I currently provide mental health counseling services for individuals and groups as a student intern with my qualified clinical supervisor, Joshua Talbert, LMHC. I, as your counselor, will come alongside you as you strive to set and attain your goals.
I believe that all my clients are capable of overcoming difficulties and changes in life. I am dedicated to helping reduce distressing symptoms, gain self-awareness, and improve confidence in their abilities. I believe that offering empathy, acceptance, support, and encouragement are essential to guide my clients toward growth and positive outcomes.
I take a person-centered approach that views you as the expert of your own story and values empathy and the therapeutic alliance. I am particularly passionate about mindfulness techniques.
