Anita V. Gutierrez, LCSW I strongly believe that's it's an honor to help others find their path to their best life ever. I enjoy working with adults and being present in their recovery. I have experience in working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety and trauma. I have trained in different modalities but enjoy using solution focused, CBT and trauma informed care in my approach to helping others. I strive to be accepting and mindful of what my clients are going through and offer emotional support by going at their pace.
I naturally gravitated towards being a trained therapist after a long time of being in the social work field working with different populations. I felt that my clients were at times needing a therapist and at times couldn't find a therapist to address their needs. I went back to school with focus on Mental Health.
My journey has allowed me to work with children, adults, couples, families, pregnant/parenting adolescents, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, individuals incarcerated, in psychiatric locked facilities and hospitals. I have always felt, that helping others feel and get better, it's my calling not a job.
