Hello! My name is Angie, I am a licensed clinician in the state of California. I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now. Overall my counseling style is pretty directive, my goal is to empower my clients to find their own solutions and answers. I like to focus on identifying my client's strengths and helping them to maximize those strengths to overcome obstacles.
I have experience providing services to clients dealing with depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, anger management, personal development, and adjustment issues. I have also facilitated parenting classes and group therapy sessions. I've also worked with the at-risk youth population for over 7 years.
My approach uses a combination of therapeutic modalities such as; Client-Centered, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. However, I am skilled in assessing the needs of my clients and demonstrate flexibility in providing interventions and strategies best suited for each individual.
