Life is hard! Relationships are hard! Fighting, arguing, misunderstandings, miscommunications, differences of opinions, betrayals, omissions, lack of boundaries, etc (the list goes on) can cause problems in the best of relationships...I'm here to help figure out where things went off course and help redirect to safer areas. Being married to the same guy for 34+ yrs (WOW!) has had it's challenges, good/bad days and often wonder how we got through everything. It's possible with the right tools, patience (sometimes forgiveness) and willingness to make it work, no matter what the situation. I'm here to help and provide hope.
I provide psychotherapy for teens (14yo+) through adults in a variety of areas including self esteem, anxiety, depression, life decisions, relationships, insecurities, body image-dysmorphia, etc. I specialize in relationships (couples, married partners, parents-children, etc) as well as sexuality education and sex therapy (anything "sex" related).
As an MFT, I will draw from the tools of family systems theory, such as setting boundaries & promoting healthy communication of feelings, to help you navigate a variety of relationships. I can help you sift through your life experiences, whether they were pleasant or painful, & help you examine how they affect you currently, relationships, or mental health.
