Hi there! Welcome to Rise & Shine Play Therapy. Perhaps you are worried or concerned about your child’s behavior or notice that they may be struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. Or perhaps, your child has experienced a loss, a trauma, a difficult change or a big life transition. It may be that your child is having frequent tantrums, meltdowns, aggression and defiance and you are left feeling drained and struggling with how to help your child manage their big emotions. As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), I have received specialized training in play therapy and use this training and experience to work with toddlers, children, adolescents and families. I provide counseling to address various psychosocial, emotional and behavioral difficulties.
