Hi there! I'm Dr. Angel, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I hope to connect with you and look forward to helping you on your journey to becoming your most authentic self. This provider resides in Hawaii. I worked with clients presenting with a broad range of issues, from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief issues, self-growth, spirituality, and life stressors. As your therapist, my goal is to help you navigate through the pit stops and detours in your life journey so that you can begin to take care of yourself.
My approach in therapy is eclectic, which is grounded in a Person-Centered approach along with other therapeutic modalities appropriate to your needs. I provide a warm, safe, caring, respectful, and non-judgmental space for you to share and process what is most important to you.
I was told growing up that I was a good listener and people felt heard. Initially, I thought that was who I was, and it was a part of my personality. As I got older, I realized that helping others was something I enjoyed, and it came naturally for me. Seeing my clients get better is what drives me to keep doing what I do.
