Welcome! My name is Angelica Quick. I hold a master’s degree in counseling and I am a National Board Certified Counselor. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I have more than 25 years of experience as a mental health professional. This includes direct counseling as well as case management and service coordination for individuals with mental illness and individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. I have aided in accessing medical, social, and educational services that help individuals and families achieve a better quality of life.
I have extensive experience in effective counseling, crisis prevention and management, assessment, and diagnostic and therapeutic activities. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I integrate an eclectic approach by focusing on the emotional, physical, mental, and social wellbeing of each client.
Upon request, I can serve clients who desire a faith-based approach as well. My goal as a counselor is not to change you. Change is your choice. My goal is to build awareness, compassion, understanding, respect, empathy, and acceptance toward self and others and to develop one’s full potential and ability to cope.
