My work as a therapist is based out of my passion for people, my personal experience as a wife, mother, and person of color. I place a tremendous amount of value on the therapeutic relationship. Our work together is a collaborative partnership, where I hope to serve as a guide on your journey to fulfillment, or your path to healing. My goal is to provide a safe environment where clients are treated with respect and dignity. I’m passionate about working with communities of color, to raise awareness, and dispel myths and the stigma behind mental health services.
My professional experience includes working with high profile individuals where trust and confidentiality are paramount. I'm passionate about servicing entertainment professionals, athletes, and couples. I'm trained to work with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
I practice from an integrative approach, and my interventions cater to the needs of each individual client. I look to help clients discover solutions, gain self-awareness, and modify behaviors.
