Everyone has a story. I want to hear yours. My experience as a therapist has led me to find this approach as a very effective one in bringing the transformation that people seek. Many of my patients have been surprised at how comfortable yet profound the therapeutic process has been for them. Yes, it does take hard work and personal commitment. But you won't be doing this alone. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, viewing our therapeutic relationship as central to the change process.
My clinical expertise includes working with individuals who have a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, cultural issues, transitional issues, and chronic pain. Currently, my practice is a mix of in-person sessions and telehealth.
It is fascinating to draw from neuroscience and attachment theory. I teach courses on trauma, loss, and neuroscience at the graduate level. I love learning. The most rewarding education has been what I have learned by working with my clients.
