Working through a scary concept, worried about a potential diagnosis, newly diagnosed, what does this mean for me? How do I integrate it into who I believe myself to be. What if there's no diagnosis and I'm just struggling and can't figure out why? What if all those things people said about me were true. What if they weren't?
Person centered, solution focused therapy is what I believe in. I believe you know what your struggles are and that sometimes, we just need help figuring out a starting point and why they keep happening. I work from a trauma informed lens and truly believe that there isn't anything wrong with having difficulty learning to adjust to new realities.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
