Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and caregivers. I also have vast experience working with first responders: civilian, military and veterans. I obtained my master’s degree from the University of South Florida after retiring from law enforcement with over 20 years of experience. My lifelong passion has been in service to others and helping to make difficult or traumatic times less painful, more manageable.
I use cognitive and behavioral therapy to gently explore your thoughts and feelings to find new ways of approaching problems. I am EMDR trained and can help you navigate trauma. I also use systems & solution focused approaches which helps to better understand your overall circumstances and concerns and find actionable steps to manage challenges.
You can expect safe and unbiased care in therapy with me. In our first session we will do an assessment so I can better understand how to help. Each session is then tailored to your unique goals. Sessions are a safe haven for you to freely share thoughts and feelings. We will work collaboratively to help to enhance the quality of your life and wellbeing.
