I have over 7 years as a licensed Addiction Professional and 14 years of experience recovering from my own addiction and depression. Yoga has numerous benefits for improving health and calming the mind. For someone in recovery, getting on the mat sets the tone for the day! Via telehealth, I offer a trauma-informed, gentle Hatha Yoga. Class starts with an easy warm-up, and breathwork, followed by poses for strengthening and increasing flexibility. I modifications and encourage everyone to always listen to their body and honor that message. Finally, the class cools down with some chill factor of meditation experience to allow the practice to absorb into our whole being.
