I specialize in working with parents, couples, and adults who have trouble with negative self-talk, perfectionism or anxiety. These symptoms may be caused by painful early childhood experiences, difficult perinatal experiences, systemic oppression, or simply high sensitivity to painful realities such as climate change. If you have struggled with the impacts of trauma, with shame, insomnia, or with the challenges of early parenthood, I am here to support you. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).
I help clients develop secure relationships, more confidence in their decision-making, increased resilience, improved self-esteem, and more self-compassion. Whether through couples therapy, individual therapy, or KAP, clients become more aligned with their inner authority, and less overwhelmed by worry, depression or fear.
I work with clients of all backgrounds and my work is informed by the understanding that patriarchy, ableism, homophobia, racism, and the demands of capitalism all impact mental health. True Yang Somatic Ketamine Therapy offers somatic and ketamine-assisted therapy for the healing of trauma. Somatic therapy is based in the neuroscience of attachment. Together, you and your therapist will navigate an exploration of the “imprints” in your nervous system that were formed in early childhood. You will learn how to tend to the parts of yourself that carry wounds from early childhood and how to care holistically for your body, mind and heart.
