When you hear " Lifestyle Transitions" what comes to mind? The concept speaks for itself. When creating a safe space, the goal is to you transition your new being and your new lifestyle using effective psychological treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which has been used to treat an array of issues such as anxiety, depression, marital problems, as well as severe mental illness along with DBT and other modalities. As a therapist, I have empathy for clients who are faced with the day to day struggles of feeling overwhelmed and uncertain on how to navigate life.
I understand the importance of seeing the person as an individual as well as seeing the person as a part of a whole family unit assisting the family and the individual in finding balance within themselves and within the structure of the family. I recognize that many people are living with unresolved trauma that still impacts who they are today.
Having worked with clients with PTSD as well as individuals who struggle with bipolar, depression, anxiety, and marital conflicts, I have been able to see the positive outcome of lives that have been transformed by doing the work necessary to change irrational thoughts into positive thinking.
