Are you feeling disconnected? Existential dread? Shame? My therapeutic style is warm, grounded and direct. I work to co-create a therapeutic space for speaking freely to address intense, painful, or confusing feelings without judgement. Connecting in the present moment opens the possibility of awareness and relief in the present moment while also addressing underlying dynamics. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, people who have experienced trauma, and organizers, artists, and people pushed to the margins of society.
I enjoy working with people trying out therapy for the first time, as well as those who have had frustrating and painful past experiences in therapy. I come from liberation therapy perspectives and seek to be gender-affirming, anti-racist, fat-positive, polyamory/non-monogamous/kink competent and affirming, and committed to non-pathologizing approaches.
I approach therapy as a powerful tool to support your growth and self-awareness. Despite the obstacles that can prevent us from experiencing connection, I believe that every person is worthy of love and community. I would be honored to meet you and explore working together.
