I work with youth, college students, adults, and couples coming to therapy for a variety of reasons. I have a person-centered counseling style, and work with clients to meet their goals. Everyone's experiences and challenges are unique, and my goal is to help clients develop skills to better manage these issues.
I have experience working with individuals who are facing the challenges of parenting, adoption, and parenting children with disabilities. I have also worked with disabled individuals as well as people recovering from drug and alcohol abuse.
Before being a counselor, I spent 13 years working as a pastor. I am passionate about helping people work through issues of spirituality, or honoring their spirituality during the counseling process, if that is important to them.
