Anxiety, stress, and depression; grief and loss; relationship, work, and family issues; a lack of meaning; trauma, fear, and spiritual crises… are deeply painful and often signs of incipient growth. It's there, with the struggling and growing that I may be able to help. I've experienced some considerable wounds in my time and have altered my relationship with, and often overcome them. This usually involved periods of deep reflection which changed how I perceived things. This helped start a change in myself. This is why I’m able to relate to others and accompany them on their journeys in a compassionate, healing manner.
I use forms of Western psychology and Western / Eastern spirituality to help create contexts in which clients engage with inner sources of healing. They also often gain profound insights into the self. Together we explore options for dealing with challenges and changes, and move forward to increase inner clarity, psychological flexibility, and growth.
To my mind there is no standard template for therapy. Every client is unique and needs to pursue an entirely individual process. Moreover, the single most important aspect of the healing relationship is the nature of the connection between the client and therapist. Whatever your issues, let’s try to move through them together.
