Hello, I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana. I received my master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020. Prior to receiving my master's degree, I was a Licensed Practical Nurse in pediatrics. I have a passion for helping others and assisting them in making positive changes in their lives. I have experience in working with children and adolescents suffering from anxiety, depression, attachment issues, ADHD, ODD, trauma, and conduct disorders. I have experience in a variety of treatment methods such as CBT, DBT, solution focused, strength-based, and play therapy.
During the first session, I will begin by gathering as much information as possible to gain insight into your situation. We will work together to identify goals and develop a treatment plan. I encourage you to bring a list of questions and any concerns that you may have regarding starting therapy.
I am very passionate when it comes to helping others. In order to help others, there has to be an element of trust and a strong rapport. In order for therapy to be effective, there also has to be a strong therapeutic relationship with children as well as their parents.
