Andrews Counseling & Consulting, PLLC was founded in 2016 by Travis & Anthony Andrews. These two brothers were raised in the small town of East Arcadia which is located outside of Wilmington, NC. In their community, the idea of speaking to a therapist was highly unpopular thus causing many of the mental health challenges faced by the community to go unaddressed. They both witnessed how damaging the negative stigma of mental health treatment was to their community and vowed as adults to advocate for mental health awareness, especially in the African American community!
Andrews Counseling & Consulting is proud to serve as change agents in the field of mental health. Our mission is to spread awareness of mental health and efface the negative stigma associated with it! We aim to serve individuals, couples, and families who are in need of our services.
