Life presents us with many complex challenges. Whether you are feeling stuck, struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, substance abuse or relationship issues, you don't need to go through it alone. I work from a person-centered approach where I meet each client where they are in their process of change to help clarify and achieve their personal goals in therapy and in life. I offer clients commitment, compassion and freedom from judgment. My areas of specialization include addiction, trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, life transitions, chronic mental health issues and couples work.
I tailor my clinical approaches based on the needs of each client. I use a combination of CBT and psychodynamic approaches. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treatment of trauma and addiction issues.
It is not easy to reach out for help with any of these issues. I often say to clients that finding a therapist is like finding a comfortable pair of shoes. It is important to try a few on to find the best fit. I hope to speak with you soon.
