Mental health struggles can be severely debilitating and make even the smallest day to day task seem impossible to complete. We can often feel like we're stuck and that just finding some peace of mind is an unreachable goal. Often, there is unresolved trauma impacting this more than we even know. Change can be difficult when everything seems so overwhelming that you don't know where or how to start. I am here to help guide you in these changes through learning to cope with your current symptoms while addressing their root causes.
I work with individuals struggling with their mental health, particularly when rooted in trauma. Trauma manifests itself in many ways, but the relationship between past trauma and current struggles is often overlooked. I will teach you to cope with symptoms in the present, while identifying and addressing how the past is impacting your current functioning.
I provide psychotherapy services to adults in RI and GA struggling with trauma related symptoms utilizing proven methods such as CBT and ACT. While it may be difficult to see at times, there is a better tomorrow waiting for you. Together we’ll work towards this reality and the meaningful changes you seek.
