I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10 years of clinical experience working with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including: major depression and anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD/complex trauma, mood disorders, and personality issues. My clients may be struggling in their relationships, coping skills, adjustment to major life events, or poor self-image. I have a background working with individuals, couples, and families, and am passionate about working with clients of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. I believe in providing a non-judgement space for clients to explore their issues.
Therapy is a collaborative effort, and my client's needs guide the intervention. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and harm-reduction/abstinence-based treatments, I work with you in developing a treatment plan tailor-made to your individual needs.
I am a lifelong Chicagoland resident, and received my MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams School of Social Work. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, (with a minor in linguistics!) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
