Helping adolescents cope since 1999. As a school counselor for more than twenty years in and around the greater Boston area, I have come to appreciate today's complex social emotional needs of tweens, teens, and emerging young adults. I have supported the mental health of hundreds if not thousands of youth over the years through approachable solution focused counseling sessions. My process is casual, relatable, yet goal oriented in order to connect with todays youth and coach them through challenges they face.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently a district Mental Health Coordinator for Wakefield Public Schools, an iDecide Diversion Instructor, Upper House School Adjustment Counselor for Galvin Middle School, and the co-founder of Baker Center's Next Step College Success Program.
In my personal life I enjoy obsessing over sneakers I am not cool enough to wear, watching my sons play soccer, sailing my renovated sailboat around the Upper Mystic, and the waiting for the Boston Celtics to win banner number eighteen.
