Andrea received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Andrea has experience in outpatient therapy and inpatient substance abuse treatment. Andrea works with adolescents and adults. Andrea enjoys working with clients experiencing a wide variety of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as her primary theoretical orientations to help clients work toward consistently living out their values no matter their life circumstances.
Andrea believes we were never meant to walk through life alone and strives to come alongside her clients in their time of need. She believes counseling is a collaborative journey that can be helpful in a wide variety of life circumstances.
