Hi there! I’m Andrea and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve been working as a therapist for the last 11 years in a variety of settings, collecting a broad range of experience with diverse clients. I'm passionate about working with individuals who have often felt misunderstood & mistreated by systems in their lives. I strive to build trusting & safe relationships with each client I see. My clinical training has afforded me the ability to work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, personality disorders, and trauma.
I have a special passion for couples therapy work and am in the process of becoming certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I strive to help individuals feel heard and understood by one another. My therapy approach focuses on understanding each individual’s early history, attachment patterns, culture, identity & the roles within their systems.
