I am Andrea Spencer, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor in Colorado. I believe therapy takes tremendous courage and I am grateful for every client that chooses to share their story with me. I strive to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental, therapeutic environment to connect with clients. I focus on meeting them where they are in their story and work alongside them to gain insight and make positive changes in their lives. I want every client to live their life as free and as fully as they were meant to.
I offer individual counseling. I am also a Clinical Supervisor who mentors new therapists in the profession in Colorado. I am trained in Splankna (a mind-body tool for emotional healing), Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also a seasoned military spouse and deeply understand the military family and culture.
My approach to treatment is developed from a systemic lens. This client-centered approach fosters collaboration and empowerment. I recognize that each client has their own story, needs, and goals. I will help provide a personalized experience utilizing a therapeutic approach tailored to the client.
