Hello! I am so excited for you to begin your healing journey and am looking forward to walking with you every step of the way. If you're feeling some type of way about yourself, others and/or your current circumstance(s), I hear you! I love laughing with my clients just as much as I enjoy sitting in the difficult, dark and hurtful places. Some of my areas of specialty include eating disorders, active duty military/veterans, substance use/abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety and first responders.
I practice a person-centered approach, mixed with mindfulness, motivational interviewing, CBT and DBT. Faith-based counseling can be included upon request. You will likely hear me use a metaphor or two to help put things in perspective. I offer a balance of compassion and accountability, with a hot cup of tea or coffee when you walk in.
