I am a psychologist who helps adults identify and better understand symptoms or concerns and I teach skills for making adjustments in different areas of life. I work with issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, parent coaching, stress management, emotional regulation skills, major life transitions, peripartum/post-partum anxiety and depression, grief, career counseling, and job burnout. I believe anyone can learn about themselves, gain additional coping strategies and skills, and experience growth through counseling. I conduct bariatric, career, personality, and diagnostic assessments. I am a PSYPACT license holder.
I use a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy perspective to address thinking habits, behavior patterns, and emotional regulation skills to gain a better understanding of current issues and to learn additional strategies to manage symptoms. I also use existential and interpersonal approaches to allows a space to safely discuss purpose, meaning, fears, and conflicts.
I have a collaborative approach that identifies problems, develop solutions, and facilitates change. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds including race/ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, socioeconomic status, age, and aim to understand each person’s worldview and unique experiences.
