Hi there, I'm Andrea! I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about empowering and supporting my clients through challenges, shifting patterns that are no longer self-serving, personal growth, and healing. As a holistic approach therapist, the most important therapeutic attribute is cultivating a healthy sense of safety in session with my client. Holding a nurturing space is vital as I focus on the healing of the whole person including one's nervous system and brain health.
We do so by learning to identify the trauma that accumulates in our bodies and nervous systems with the purpose of building resiliency and natural self-regulation. I have had the great privilege of working with numerous clients including those who have experienced developmental trauma such as physical and sexual abuse or other childhood adverse experiences.
I also work in supporting those who have endured emotional and/or physical abuse resulting in unhealthy attachment styles. Other focuses of mine include supporting clients who identify as experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, and trauma.
